Last Updated: 1st June 2025

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking workshops with me or making purchases using https://www.willowwithjo.co.uk (the “Site”). By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Site or use any services.

I reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
  • Privacy Policy: Your use of my Site is also governed by my Privacy Policy, which outlines how I collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review my Privacy Policy [https://willowwithjo.co.uk/privacy-policy] for more details.
  • Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. Workshop Booking Conditions

  • Eligibility: Our workshops are designed for adults aged 18 and over, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the workshop description. By booking, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

  • Booking & Payment:
    • Places are booked on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment.
    • Workshop bookings that are made online via our website use the Sugar Calendar booking system.
    • Online payment for workshops is securely processed through Stripe. I do not store your full payment card details.
    • Upon successful online booking and payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email to the address provided. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive it promptly.

  • Participant Information:
    • It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date contact details (email address, phone number) at the time of booking. These details will be used for all workshop-related correspondence, including booking confirmations, reminders, and any updates or cancellations. Please notify me immediately of any changes to your contact information.
    • Please use the online booking form to declare any allergies, medical conditions, or accessibility requirements that may affect your participation in the workshop. This information allows me to make reasonable adjustments and ensure your safety and comfort. I will keep this information confidential and use it solely for the purpose of your workshop participation.

  • Workshop Materials and Preparation:
    • Unless otherwise stated, all necessary materials for the workshop will be provided.
    • Any specific preparation required before the workshop (e.g., bringing your own tools, wearing appropriate clothing) will be clearly communicated in the workshop description or confirmation email.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by You (Customer):
    • More than 3 weeks prior to the workshop date: Confirmed bookings may be moved to an alternative available date or cancelled for a refund of the paid costs, minus any non-refundable fees from the booking and payment platform used (e.g. Sugar Calendar and Stripe processing fees, typically a small percentage).
    • Within 3 weeks of the workshop date: As a small business, I am unfortunately unable to offer refunds or reschedule bookings within 3 weeks of the workshop date. This is due to the costs associated with workshop preparation, material purchase, and the difficulty of filling last-minute vacancies.
    • Transferability: All workshop places are freely transferable to another person for the same date and time. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone else in your place. Please notify me of the change of attendee’s name and email address at least 24 hours prior to the workshop date so I can update our records.
    • Short Notice Absences: If you are unable to attend a workshop at short notice (e.g., due to illness, transport issues, or unforeseen personal circumstances), I am unfortunately unable to transfer your booking to another date or offer any refunds.

  • Cancellation or Rescheduling by Me:
    • Occasionally, I may have to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low numbers of bookings, illness, or other circumstances outside of my control.
    • In such a situation, I will notify all confirmed attendees as soon as possible via the contact details provided at booking.
    • I will offer alternative dates for the workshop or a full refund of all costs paid on bookings.
    • Limitation of Liability: Please note that if I do have to cancel or reschedule a workshop, my liability is limited to the refund of the workshop fee paid. I am not liable for any other associated costs incurred by you, such as travel expenses or accommodation. I recommend purchasing flexible travel arrangements where possible.

  • Refund Processing: Refunds can take up to 10 working days to process and appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Code of Conduct & Participation

  • I aim to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the workshop instructor and other attendees.
  • I reserve the right to remove any participant from a workshop who engages in disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, without refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • While I take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety during workshops, participation is at your own risk.
  • I shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or accident that may occur during a workshop, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g., for death or personal injury caused by my negligence).

6. Changes to Terms & Conditions

I reserve the right, at my sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, I will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at my sole discretion. By continuing to access or use my Site after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
